EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS
I have over 15 years of professional experience serving adults navigating career changes and transitions in Higher Education and Adult Education and Training. In 2018, I founded HD Career Consulting, LLC (HDCC), providing career consulting services for work+happy-seeking adults. I expanded the team in 2023 to include clinical mental health counseling to complement career coaching services and officially rebranded to WorkLife Wellness Lab.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Business and Public Administration and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership, with specialized training in supporting adult students pursuing education, training and making career changes. In 2022, I obtained the Work Incentives Planner Certification, a national credential from Cornell University, authorizing me to provide benefits counseling for adults seeking to return to work while receiving public benefits. I also plan to graduate in Spring 2025 with a second master's in Rehabilitation Counseling, CRC, and LPCC.
